My wife, Jodi Jacyk and I recently teamed up to design a show for a Downtown Eastside childen's theatre program called Project Limelight. Jodi designed and built the costumes (with generous help from a few people in the Vancouver theatre community), and I illustrated the sets. Big thanks go out to Alan down at Fidelis who was a also a great help in creating the large scale prints needed to make the backdrops come to life.
WONDERLAND is an adaptation of Alice in Wonderland, features 26 young performers, ages 8 – 12, who have worked together to create a show for their friends, family and community. The program offers youth living in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside, and surrounding area, a safe place to build an artistic community. 

WONDERLAND is running for 2 performances only on Saturday June 2, 2012 at 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm at the Fei and Milton Wong Experimental Theatre / SFU Woodwards 149 West Hastings St. Vancouver, B. C.

Jodi and I have been given the opportunity to host a Moon Base Gallery pop-up show at the Interurban Gallery in Gastown this November. For those of you who’ve never heard of the Moon Base it was a “pop-based” gallery located on Vancouver’s Carrall Street from 1997-2002. Over that time we hosted over 50+ shows and had hundreds of artists show on our walls. In the spirit of Moon Base we’re seeking work for a show that we’re not calling a reunion, but a continuation. We’re dipping our toes in the pool you might say. This may lead to further shows or perhaps a more permanent location once again but we’ll see where this takes us. I'll be giving more details as the show approaches and a list of participating artists. Follow our Twitter feed.

I have a new painting entitled "Ionisatia" in Billy Shire's La Luz de Jesus Gallery 25th anniversary exhibition and book. To say the least the list of artists is mind blowing. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see all these artists together in 2 shows and I'm honored to be amongst them.
