WONDERLAND

My wife, Jodi Jacyk and I recently teamed up to design a show for a Downtown Eastside childen's theatre program called Project Limelight. Jodi designed and built the costumes (with generous help from a few people in the Vancouver theatre community), and I illustrated the sets. Big thanks go out to Alan down at Fidelis who was a also a great help in creating the large scale prints needed to make the backdrops come to life.
WONDERLAND is an adaptation of Alice in Wonderland, features 26 young performers, ages 8 – 12, who have worked together to create a show for their friends, family and community. The program offers youth living in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside, and surrounding area, a safe place to build an artistic community. 

WONDERLAND is running for 2 performances only on Saturday June 2, 2012 at 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm at the Fei and Milton Wong Experimental Theatre / SFU Woodwards 149 West Hastings St. Vancouver, B. C.

Hot Art | Wet City - Interview

Here's the interview I did with Hilary Henegar from Hot Art Wet City in my micro-studio. I'm always amused to see a film crew try to squeeze into this hot, tiny space. Thanks go out to Chris Bentzen for filming this and including me in his projects over the years, such as One Hot Inch Action, and Carded! Always fun events.
